ADELE SURPRISES SA FANS WITH INVITATION ON STAGE IN MUNICH
British singing sensation Adele gave two South Africans a core memory that they’ll never forget. Clement Manyathela and his friend Basani were invited by Adele to join her on stage during her concert in Munich.
Adele pointed to the two South Africans and their group friends in the 80,000-strong crowd saying “You guys are just being such a vibe!”.
The group of friends travelled to Munich to watch Adele live in concert. The singer is currently in the middle of her residency at Messe Munchen, an arena that was especially built for her concerts.
Adele had a nice chat with the two friends on stage and asked them questions about where they were from, why they were in town and what they had been up to since arriving.
The two Joburgers said that they went to Munich, especially for the concert and that they were celebrating Clement, a 702 radio personality’s birthday.
Clement, who took his phone with him on stage to record the fun interaction, forgot to press record on his phone, but luckily Adele noticed and reminded him to do so.
She then got the group of friends in the crowd to take a photo of the three of them before taking a selfie of them on Clement’s phone.
Adele’s parting words to the two friends were: “I will come to South Africa. I love South Africa.”
