NEW BANKSY ARTWORK REVEALED
A new artwork has been unveiled by streetwork artist Banksy. The artwork has been done in his signature stencil style and has been painted on a wall in Richmond, south-west London.
The artist, who’s unknown to the general public, only recently claimed responsibility for his artwork by posting a picture of the artwork on his Instagram account.
The piece features a goat standing on top of a tall structure attached to a building wall while rocks fall off the structure around him. When the piece of art was discovered by passers-by, a CCTV camera was pointing at the goat.
The camera has since been moved to its original position.
Locals living in the Kew area have shared their delight with the location of the artwork. Many Londoners are big fans of Banksy and find it exciting when their areas are being chosen as the location of his latest artwork.
Unfortunately, some of the councils have painted over the artworks over the years, while others have kept it safeguarded.
BBC reports that Banksy last painted in the English capital in Finsbury Park when he sprayed green paint on a wall behind a cut-back tree to look like foliage, with a stencil of a person holding a sprayer next to it.
