TRUMP ASKED TO STOP USING TITANIC SONG

Celine Dion’s team has intervened and asked former US president Donald Trump to stop using ‘My Heart Will Go On’, the theme song from the movie Titanic, during his rallies.

Her record label said the song was “in no way authorised”.

The statement released by her team said: “Today, Celine Dion’s management team and her record label, Sony Music Entertainment Canada Inc., became aware of the unauthorised usage of the video, recording, musical performance, and likeness of Celine Dion singing ‘My heart will go on’ at a Donald Trump/JD Vance campaign rally in Montana.

“In no way is this use authorised, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar.

“…And really, THAT song?”

The 56-year-old recently made headlines for performing Hymne A L’Amour life at the opening of the Olympic Games in Paris. Dion said she was “so full of joy” as she sang from the middle of the Eiffel Tower.

Dion recently released a documentary showing her struggle with stiff person syndrome.

During his previous presidential campaign, Trump was asked by the likes of Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Ozzy Osbourne and Linkin Park to stop using their music without authorisation.
