CHRISTMAS BELLS STREAMED ON SPOTIFY THIS YEAR
The festive season is known for good old favourite tracks and even though some new contenders hoped to get a spot in the top favourite tracks, it was the usuals like Michael Buble, Mariah Carey and Frank Sinatra who were the kings and queens of South Africa’s Christmas playlists this year.
According to Spotify, holiday playlist creation spiked by more than 1,400% since the start of November. The December charts were topped by The Kiboomers, Carey and Buble.
Buble had the top-streamed Christmas album in the world and his album is also Spotify’s most streamed Christmas album of all time.
The 2024 top global streamed tracks on Spotify were:

- - Santa tell me by Ariana Grande
