HOT AIR BALLOON MAKES EMERGENCY LANDING IN NEIGHBOURHOOD

You can only imagine what an emergency it is if a hot air balloon must make a landing in a residential neighbourhood.

That’s what happened in a small town in the United States called Bonney Lake. The town is located near Seattle.

Onboard the hot air balloon there were eight people, two of them were celebrating their 21st birthdays.

Just after 21:00 on Thursday, a resident Lory Brinkmann said she noticed something strange.

“First, I was like oh this is cool, but then when we realised that it was going down, was when, oh okay, we better see if they need help.”

The pilot steering the hot air balloon said he realised that there were problems and steered the balloon to this specific neighbourhood because he knew there weren’t any power lines above ground.

The neighbours quickly gathered around to help steer the balloon and allow the passengers to exit. No one was injured.
