CHRISSY TEIGEN AND JOHN LEGEND WELCOME FOURTH CHILD VIA SURROGATE
After massive heartache over losing their unborn son Jack in 2020, model Chrissy Teigen and singer John Legend have welcomed their fourth child into the world.
Wren Alexander Stephens was born via surrogate last month. He is the couple’s fourth child.
Teigen shared the news on her Instagram feed and said that she had “always wanted four children”.
“After losing Jack, I didn’t think I’d be able to carry any more babies on my own. In 2021, we reached out to a surrogacy agency, with our first correspondence inquiring about perhaps having 2 tandem surrogates, to each bring us a healthy baby boy or girls.”
The 37-year-old said they attempted another round of IVF when they decided to go the surrogacy route as well.
Teigen gave birth to the couple’s third child, a daughter named Esti, in January 2023. While pregnant with Esti, the couple met their surrogate.
Wren Alexander Stephens was born in June and Alexander is a nod to the surrogate who carried him to term.
The couple now have four children in total: Wren and Esti, along with Miles (5) and Luna (7).
