PINK FAN THROWS MOM ASHES ON STAGE DURING PERFORMANCE
While most singers are used to fans
throwing flowers, photos or underwear on stage while they perform, Pink was
faced with something much more controversial this week.
During her performance at BTS Hyde Park in
London, the “Just Like A Pill” singer paused her performance for a few seconds
when a fan threw her mom’s ashes onto the stage.
The 43-year-old can be heard asking the fan
“This is your mom?” in videos circulating on social media. Soon after she picks
up the bag of ashes and puts it down at the end of the stage and continues
singing while she can be heard saying “I don’t know how I feel about this.”
Pink is currently touring the globe on her
Summer Carnival tour. She started in Europe and performed two nights in London
over the weekend.
After the weekend’s performance, the singer
shared a video on her Instagram showing all the highlights of the weekend’s
shows. There was no mention of the ashes.
The video caption read: “@btshydepark it is
the joy of my life to play with all of you. I am never not grateful.”
