DJOKOVIC SET TO BECOME MOST SUCCESSFUL SINGLE PLAYER IN HISTORY

Tennis start Novak Djokovic is set to become the world’s most successful singles player in the history of tennis.

He currently shares the world record with the female player Margaret Court.

The Serbian star stands a good chance to win this year’s French Open title again this year, marking his 25th grand slam singles title and the chance to break the world record for both men and women.

The French Open will start on 20 May in Paris.

“Of course, I’m not the only one that wants to grab that tile but I look forward to it. I like competing with different generations. You have the young guys who are coming up… They’re all incredibly hungry and fit and fast.”

During an interview with CNN, the 36-year-old said that he works hard to keep up with the younger generation.

“I use my adaptability to adjust my tactics and my game to them and understand really what it takes, you know, what it takes to stay at the top and compete with these guys and try to win more titles.”
