GEORGE CLOONEY CALLS ON BIDEN TO DROP OUT OF PRESIDENTIAL RACE
One of the Democrats’ biggest donors has asked President Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race amid health concerns.
Actor George Clooney wrote in an article published in The New York Times that although the president had won many battles in his career that’s spanned several decades, “the one battle he cannot win is the fight against time”.
Even though several other party donors have called on Biden to drop out of the race, he has repeatedly said that he’s determined to remain as the Democratic party’s candidate.
The United States national election takes place in November.
Biden’s health and state of mind became the country’s hot topic after his presidential debate against Republican candidate and former president Donald Trump.
Biden seemed out of touch, forgot his words and repeated several others too often.
Clooney wrote about a recent encounter with Biden at a fundraising event three weeks ago: “He wasn’t the Joe ‘big ****ing deal’ Biden of 2010. He wasn’t even the Joe Biden of 2020.”
“He was the same man we all witnessed at the debate.”
He continued saying that the only reason he wants Biden to pull out is because of his age.
“This is about age. Nothing more. We’re not going to win in November with this president.”
