INFINITY POOL TO LINK DUBAI SKYSCRAPERS
The city of Dubai is known for being extravagant and home to the super wealthy.
Now, a new development in the desert city is planning to link two skyscrapers that are both 180 metres tall, with one another through an infinity pool.
The two skyscrapers will be constructed in Marasi Marina in Dubai.
The infinity pool will be 13 metres long and will connect the two buildings known collectively as the Regent Residences Dubai.
The buildings will comprise of 63 luxurious residences including a penthouse. The penthouse will feature six bedrooms, a private elevator and a gym.
The other apartments will each have its own entire floor with views of the marina and the Burj Khalifa. The Burj, as its affectionately known by locals, is the world’s tallest building and located close to the Regent Residences Dubai.
Once completed, which is scheduled for 2027, it’s estimated that the Regent Residences Dubai will be worth $1 billion.
The infinity pool at the top of the buildings won’t be accessible to the residents or the public, but it shouldn’t be a worry for the residents as each apartment will have its own pool already.
CNN reports that residents will enjoy access to tennis and padel courts, outdoor lounges, a private cinema and virtual gold simulator, among much else. The podium at the base of the towers will meanwhile feature open green spaces, restaurants and retail space.
