LONDON PUB BECOMES FAMOUS AFTER MENTION IN TAYLOR SWIFT SONG

What once used to be a well visited but quiet pub in Vauxhall, London has quickly become a new landmark to visit for Taylor Swift fans.

Swifties, as they’re known, have been visiting The Black Dog after it was mentioned in one of the singer’s songs on her new album The Tortured Poet’s Department.

The pub’s owner has decided to embrace the chaos and welcome what’s generally not known as his typical client. Outside, he has written the lyrics to the song ‘The Black Dog’ in chalk on a black board.

‘Your location, you forgot to turn it off/And so I watch as you walk/Into some bar called The Black Dog/And pierce new holes in my heart.’

Swifties quickly took to social media once the new album was released in an attempt to decipher where the pub is located.

Once it was established that Swift’s former boyfriend Joe Alwyn lived in the area, the pub was located and shared on social media.

News24 reports that the star, who has cultivated a tight-knight community of fans on social media, has not confirmed the rumours but they quickly spread and the pub has become one of London’s newest attractions.
